While pursuing his degree in Finance at Seton Hall University, Austin worked part time in Construction to pay for his tuition. By the time he received his diploma he knew he was being lead toward a career in Construction. His first job was as a Carpenter’s Apprentice.

His work ethic and eagerness to learn then drove his desire to excel. He then became a Lead Carpenter. Shortly after he set out to build his own business. Austin Fanning General Contractors was born in the ’90s.

Over the past thirty years, Austin continues to hone his skill as a Craftsman and pursue his passion of Leadership.

As the General Contractor, Austin’s role is to oversee all facets of the project. His responsibilities include building the Project’s Budget, Managing the on-site Production, and collaborating with Architects, Designers, as well as Specialty Contractors and Vendors.

Austin was raised in West Orange and resides in Cedar Grove, NJ.
