1How soon can you get started on my project?
As soon as possible! However, I suggest keeping in mind any long lead items that need to be ordered including Cabinetry, Permits, Doors, and any custom orders. It’s important to understand that these items will have an effect on the timeline/scheduling of your project. Make sure to read “Our Process”.
2Do you provide free Estimates?
Yes, all Estimates are offered at no charge.
3How often will we meet?
First, we would suggest contacting us to set up an initial appointment! We will schedule a time with you to do an initial walkthrough to better understand your goals. Depending on the scope of work, our Subcontractors may need to do a walk through as well. Once your project begins, we will communicate continuously throughout.
4Will Austin Fanning be on the job?
Yes, Austin Fanning takes great pride overseeing all phases of a project to ensure the highest quality of work is performed.
5How much will my project cost?
Every project varies based on the scope of work. We understand everyone has a budget and we want to make sure we work within your budget. Our goal is to fully understand your vision in order to provide a fair and accurate Estimate.
6What is the best way to pay you for our project?
I want to make sure you are clear on the progress of the job and that no gray area exists. All contracts include a detailed schedule of progress payments that are to be made throughout your project.
7How long will my project take to complete?
Depending on the scope of work, we will provide a timeline for each phase of the project with your Contract.
8Who is responsible for submitting permit applications?
We act as the agent for the homeowner and therefore submit all permit applications on your behalf as well as schedule all Inspections.
9Are your Subcontractors Insured and reputable?
Yes, we work only with insured Subcontractors and can provide a Proof of Insurance for all trades on the job. Over the course of my career, I have built relationships with Vendors and Subcontractors that I find to be reputable and offer top of the line products and services. My standards have always been high and I want the best for my Clients, therefore I work only with the best!
10Does the Homeowner need to be home for Inspections?
No, we will schedule all inspections with the town and be on-site to meet the Inspector.
